Belgian, French and Dutch wildcards complete Gent-Wevelgem line-up

The 18 WorldTour teams include BORA-hansgrohe of 2018 winner Peter Sagan, the new CCC Team and Trek-Segafredo of ex-winners Greg Van Avermaet and John Degenkolb respectively. Alongside these are Belgian WorldTour teams Deceuninck - Quick-Step and Lotto Soudal who are preparing themselves to race on home soil across the Moeren, the Plugstreets and the Kemmelberg.

Seven teams will join the fight over the landscape of the Great War, including four Belgian teams: Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise, Wanty-Gobert Cycling Team, Corendon-Circus of newly crowned cyclocross World Champion Mathieu van der Poel, and Wallonie Bruxelles. Three teams from neighbouring countries complete the list: French teams Direct Energie and Cofidis, Solutions Crédits will be on the start line in March, while the last wildcard goes to the orange jerseys of Roompot-Charles.
Gent-Wevelgem presents a star-studded field once more, with a list of teams ready to tackle the unpredictable, historical course and the wind. Exactly which riders will stand between Peter Sagan and a record fourth victory in Wevelgem are yet to be confirmed, with more information about the final team selections to be released in due course.
